PEMEROLEHAN HASIL BELAJAR KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA BAHASA INDONESIA SISWA KELAS V SDN 18 SIMALEGI SIBERUT BARAT KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN MENTAWAI

This research aims to describe the learning outcomes of Indonesian reading skills in class V at SDN 18 Simalegi using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Model. The theory used in this research is about language skills by Wina Sanjaya (2011), reading by Dalman (2013) and Gusnetti (2018), the STAD model by Oktavia (2020) and Rusman (2011). This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at SDN 18 Simalegi, West Siberut District. The research subjects were 36 class V students of SDN 18 Simalegi, West Siberut District. The research was carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle was held in two meetings. The research instruments were teacher activity observation sheets, student learning activity observation sheets and learning outcome tests. The research results showed that (1) the average percentage of teacher activity increased from 72.5% in cycle I to 87.5% in cycle II. (2) the percentage of student learning activities from cycle I was 59.7%, increasing to 83.32% in cycle II. (3) student learning outcomes from cycle I was 69.44%, increasing to 94.44% in cycle II. It can be concluded that by using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model, there was an increase in learning outcomes for reading ability in Indonesian language learning in class V at SDN 18 Simalegi, Kabupaten
